Step back in time, to the days of the Old West, when the “Big Valley” was filled with wild adventure, desperate men and rip-roaring fun.  Come join the Spirits of the Old West, in the Cowboy Capital of the World, at the 2010 ‘Oakdale Chocolate Festival’ as they host two days of Wild West theater, on May 15^th and 16^th, with other teams from the western United States.  Western Re-enactment teams from California and Nevada will be recreating shows depicting life in the old west during the mid to late 1800s.

But hold on to your britches and corsets, because at high noon, on both days, the quick draw competitions will be going on in between the performances.  That's right, folks, authentic looking Old West Gunfighters will square off in the middle of town to see who will walk away with the trophy and unseat the 2006 champion, “Pronto Pike” as the “Fastest Gun in the West".
